• To get complete knowledge about Acupuncture Science, fundamental theories on which Acupuncture Science has been derived.
• To get adequate knowledge about acupuncture channels, points and their locations, relationship with organs.
• To get a practical knowledge and training on diagnosis methods to conclude the deficiency and to select an appropriate acupuncture point for treatment.

In a span of just 15 years, the Indian Accutouch Medical Institute has extended its services to the mankind all over South India, in cities like Coimbatore, Mettupalayam, Karur, Salem, Hosur, Permbalur, Udayarpalayam, Neyveli, Nellikuppam, Villupuram, Thirukovilur, Katpadi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kerala and also planning to spread its roots to other parts of the country in order to apprise the people about the Drugless Touch Therapy of Acupuncture Treatment.

In order to make the common man aware of this Drugless Touch Therapy, we had conducted several awareneness programmes and Short Term Courses on Acupuncture Life Science and Nature Cure through which thousands of participants have learned to live and lead a healthy life and began to contribute their expertise to the society for healthy living.

Further to improve the merits and the quality of the said courses, we approached Bharathiar University in the year 2013 to conduct Acupuncture Science Courses in IAMI in first hand with our syllabi and subsequently got the approval to conduct the courses. Since then IAMI has been conducting classes and the students of IAMI go out after successful completion of the course with the eligible certificates awarded to them by Bharathiar University. So far, around 500 students of IAMI have completed the course and most of them are serving the society in various parts of the country by providing health care awareness through Acupuncture Drugless Touch Therapy which has been accepted widely by the public as a need of the hour solution for all their healthcare needs.

The Institute is having the necessary facilities and infrastructure to facilitate the students to attend the Personal contact programmes, Practicals, etc., as detailed below:-

• IAMI is situated at 10/85, Sedan Thottam, on the Mettupalayam Road, near G.N.Mills bus stop, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and is easily connected with transport facilities.
• The Institute has a capacity of accommodating 370 students (170 seats in the A/C hall and 200 sets in a non A/C Hall) solely for the purpose of conducting Acupuncture Science courses with all the necessary facilities.
• Video (OHP) and Audio systems have been provided in order to give demonstrations to the students.
• A well established and dedicated Library which has collections of complete literature and books to cover the syllabus of Acupuncture Science Courses.
• The centre is being administered by a team of well qualified and well trained faculty members under the guidance of Mr. Magi Ramalingam, Director, IAMI
